Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

PivotAllift ("we," "our," or "us") develops ROL: Return on Load, an iOS application for truckers and owner-operators. This Privacy Policy explains what data ROL uses and how.

2. Data ROL Collects and Uses

2.1 Location & Address Data

When you enter an origin or destination, ROL passes that address to Apple Maps to calculate route distance, drive time, and directions. This is processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, store, or transmit your route data. ROL does not request background location access and does not track your GPS position.

2.2 Fuel Price Data

ROL fetches weekly regional diesel prices from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) via our CDN at fuel.pivotallift.com. This request contains no personal information — it is a public data fetch identical to visiting a public website.

2.3 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your phone:

• Your truck profile and operating cost settings
• Saved load calculations and scenarios
• App preferences

We have no access to this data. If you delete the app, this data is permanently deleted.

2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email, or any account information (no login required)
• GPS or real-time location tracking
• Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
• Financial or payment information (handled by Apple)
• Crash reports or usage analytics (not currently implemented)
• Advertising identifiers

4. Data Retention

Since ROL does not collect personal data, there is no server-side data to retain or delete. All app data lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app. To clear app data manually, go to Settings > Clear All Data within ROL.

5. Children's Privacy

ROL is designed for commercial trucking professionals and is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, most data rights requests are handled by deleting the app. If you believe we hold any data about you, contact privacy@pivotallift.com and we will respond within 30 days.

California residents: We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we add features that involve data collection (such as account sync), we will update this policy and notify users through the app before any change takes effect.
